Working in tandem with the newly born Ministry of Sound and some of the seminal dance clubs in Italy (from the behemoths in Rimini to fledgling undeground clubs in the north), Francesca Nesi embarked upon bringing the first big American players to Europe… Tony Humphries, Danny Tenaglia, Frankie Knuckles and then… all the rest.
Over the years F&G has helped – in its own little way – to turn the humble DJ into the international superstar he is today as Italian clubs were at the forefront in this field, and had budgets that allowed them to fly performers internationally.
In 1996 F&G enters the management arena scoring a huge early success with the launch of multi million selling early trance house DJ/Producer Robert Miles followed by seminal “dance” bands like Smoke City, Dimitri from Paris and subsequently Spiller, Planet Funk, M&S, and more recently Riva Starr and Pirupa. In between a couple of forays into rock with the likes of The Servant / Dan Black and Maximo Park and now with up and coming indie 4 piece Human in Bloom.
Myths were created… The Cocorico’s glass pyramid… infamous Neapolitan all night Baech Parties… Rimini Raves… and the rest – they say – is history.
Today F&G are Francesca Nesi and – on management duties – Gavino Prunas.
